The DSM-5 does have its name changed, but that did bring up a lot of questions at the time. Specifically, was it changed and reclassified for political purposes, rather than scientific purposes? And mind you, it still is in the DSM-5, which stands for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition. It is literally a manual on mental disorders, and despite the name change, it is not fully agreed upon that it is not one yet. Again, there is data that complicates the the idea that it is similar to sexuality. People still need to grasp that it is still a subject/condition that is being studied.
