You're either a male or a female. If you don't like it there's surgery in real life and there's a gender swap feature in pretty much all MMO games out there.

Honestly, it’s just pretty disheartening. People give their opinions, which is fine, but others antagonise and goad, call mine and others way of life itself “made up” and then wonder why the recipient gets angry or fed up. I’m only human, while I stand by everything I’ve said, there’s only so much I can bare to keep reading comments that I don’t think are from a place of logic or reason, but just a desire to put people down they don’t understand. I’ve made my point by posting this thread, which as I said to begin with, was bound to be controversial, no matter how calm, rational or accountable I can attempt to be, there will be those who find a way to shut this down before it ever reaches anywhere as they just fundamentally don’t agree with it, or believe it. None of this is made up. None of this is “for a fight” or attention. It’s just an honest plea for something that would make me and others so happy. Theres only so much if my energy I’m willing to give, so to those who have ACTUAL,VALID arguments as to why ONE more option is not feasable, not because it doesn’t apply to you, or differing identities makes you uncomfortable, then please speak up.

And if they did add a Non-Binary option, and modify the story, what happens when you're faced with another player that is looking at you, playing a male or female character, because that is what we're all looking at, after all.

I am going to agree with a few of the posts here.

You are playing a game. A game that has a story that is not created by you but by SE. You are making the choice to play out this story by making a character by their standards (male or female). I get you are non-binary, however, you are not playing you. You are not the Warrior of Light. Your character is.

I would rather them devote time to working on content and the game itself (It is due for a major overhaul in their coding so they can stop limiting themselves to things down the line) which takes time and manpower.

Do you want like an OMega character? I don’t know what your referring too bc there is a lot options to make famales masculine and males feminine with the exception of some clothes being gender locked which is slowly being fixed.
