    Error 601, recurring payment method

    Hi, tonight i reicieved a mail notification that the payment cant be done. The recurring pay have my old credit card, but i changed it 6months ago.

    So i try to pay with the new, 1€ was charged, but the error 601 appeared. I tried with other credit card and still the same.

    The cards are ok, no problems with it.

    Please need help.

    Same problem here. Have tried several credit cards of multiple banks. Curious that I had successfully paid at ~12 PM GMT, but several minutes after that - constant 601 at least till now.

    Got same error last month and still giving me it. Only way can pay is using paypal for my sub. Every time it sends you error on payment bans you 30 days and keeps from being able to use any other payments but paypal. They really need to fix there payment system or make it so doesn't ban you every time get a error.

    After 24h I was able to make the payment, but when I went to pay the retainers, the same error occurred again 601.
    You can not pay the retainers with paypal or crystal. u.u

    Done and Solved, so quickly but Att Costumer doesnt work on weekend XD

    I'm glad you were able to find a resolution to your 601 error. I'd like to clear up some confusion on this issue. A 601 error is a billing error, not a technical one. The system does not ban your card when this happens, however, multiple failed attempts can make the error worse. Additionally, you can pay for anything on the Mogstation with Crysta if you run into this error, including retainers.

    I'd suggest contacting the Square Enix Support Center if you receive this issue in the future. As this issue has been resolved, this thread will be moved to the 'Separate Support Required’ subforum.
