Yeah I'd also love more actual helmets. I mean we're tanks! We take hits for a living! Maybe some proper headwear would be nice. At least the ala mhigan set had a chin strap or something. Then again the Omega fending set has gaps on the thighs and chest (at least for female characters not sure about male) so maybe I shouldn't give the circlet too much trouble, it's not a realistic set to begin with.

i know kinda goes against peoples hate for the tail coats and such part of tank gear
but i do love this gear and the helmet is sweet.

(Also more shiny or otherwise “higher quality” looking dyable plate armor would be amazing too. A lot of the current metals used in tank gear look worn and don’t dye well.)

I would love some kind of spell shield. FFX had a few of these, just little energy barriers. Yuna and Lulu both used them.

I'm forever a little miffed that the tailcoat is part of the TOP piece of armor in the first place. Like dear god, I just want a plateskirt that isn't attached to something big and bulky so I can pair it with a light breastplate. Is halfplate too much to ask for?

and shields! For the love of bahamut every shield looks the same these days, it's only kites and square shields! What happened to round shields and gladiator style weapons and armors? I get that energy shields or stylized kites might be a bit much to dream of, but it's so hard to find anything even remotely Grecian or Roman, let alone Middle Eastern in the supposedly India-Middle Eastern and Greek themed expansion.

There's still only like four or five scimitars in the game. Y'know how hard it is to look like a desert warrior with so little selection? There's like 80 longswords that all look the same visually from a distance, and that homogenization has spread hard into the rest of the tank gearsets.

I cry for the WAR mains who just wanted to look like a barbarian or tribal warlord with pelts and hides. Apparently, if we're not ALL so heavily armored we could break stone paths simply by walking on them, we're not a tank. Stop forcing us to look like the WoL from the trailers.

I really dislike circlets, hope for more closed helmets.
As for big shields, i would love a new class similar to gunlacer from Monster Hunter.

this is so beautiful, my love for heavy armors is immense and i hope se will add some.
