You mean like the vampire's vest and witch's coatee people use all the time?

The werwolf legs are part of my main job glamour for like a long time. So not everyone just puts the outfits away never wearing them once. Also one could use the same argument for minions too. (Or the housing items that people who dont even has one cant even use)

It usually isn't good to assume. I actually do glamour with some of the pieces from previous events, and you totally missed an earlier section of the thread where I voiced my concern for new players being forced to go to the mogshop if they wish to dress up along with everyone else.

I know sets take a while to add to the game, and we just got amazing swimwear from the last Moonfire. So I can see how it is a bit easy to come off as a spoiled princess stomping her feet, but here's the deal:

Two years ago, Moonfire delivered our now highly used Ranger pose emotes, an orchestrion roll, and a set of armor (which players glam btw). SE followed that event up in All Saints Wake with the Vampire Vest, TWO orchestrion roles, and a minion, and a house furnishing.... AND the implementation of the very fun Haukke Manor dungeon we all look forward to now. Oh, and both of these events of 2016 also had a decent sized and amusing questlines. SE has also made it known that next year, our lovely songbirds will not be returning (an event that probably gathered more players together than any other; the amount of glowsticks in Ul'dah was insane).

Now tell me something doesn't smell funny. It should be easy to see the writing on the wall. When SE has shown themselves capable of giving us such quality content and rewards during events in the past, why wouldn't we have the expectation? It should be VERY concerning to everyone that the laziness is increasing while the quality is decreasing.

Usually the items are tossed unceremoniously into your armoire the moment you receive it, never to see the light of day again, so it makes literally no difference whether we get another one or not.

My AST currently uses the 2014 Starlight top. My SMN currently uses the 2017 Songbird skirt. I have used the 2015 Witch's Attire gloves in an earlier glamour for SMN. My Squadron MRD is currently using the newest Moonfire top and glasses. My squadron ACN is using various pieces from the 2016 Moonfire Ranger event.

I am constantly seeing people using the 2015 Witch's Attire, 2017 Songbird outfit, 2017 Werewolf, 2018 Moonfire, 2015 Valentione's, and the tons of items from the 2015 Moonfire. I still see people wearing(not as much) the 2016 Songbird, 2016 Saints' Wake Vampire, 2015 Starlight Reindeer costume and Santa beard.

    I don't know what you're talking about.

Oh and to put it all into perspective, we used to get glamours for EVERY event... until Stormblood. But that's nothing new. We've gotten nothing but less in this expansion..

The "funniest" part of this is that Stormblood was supposed to have a bigger budget than ARR and HW, or so did Yoshi-P say, and I doubt that Eureka ate all those funds that they were boasting about. The icing on the cake is that the Mog Station has received more items than HW and ARR, plus the useless companion app.

And no, I'm not saying that that is where all the money went, but it can be frustrating to notice that.

Aside of the people who’ve already replied saying they use previous years’ costumes, this is a poor argument as to why we shouldn’t hope to get a new costume with each new seasonal event.

The nature of glamour in this game, where a player can create their outfits from all the different pieces available, means that each person will wear the items they like, and leave a lot of other things unused.

But each new costume adds to the variety of items available, giving players more options.

Of course not every person will wear it - how boring would it be if they all did?

I honestly don’t need a costume for every event ever. It’s awesome when we do get them but sometimes it’s good to get other nice things too. I don’t really think this is anything to complain about. I really liked the reference on the minions though.

Whoever's in charge of what they put in these descriptions deserves a raise.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.
