Not really interested in the rewards. Loved the past Halloween costumes that I still use from time to time. Tired of housing items as well.

I'm looking forward to the decorations in town, and getting to purchase some items from past events as well as more stuff for my FC house. But I doubt I'll ever really use the minions. :/

Good news, you can now purchase those past event items (from the mogstation)! Really wish they'd take a cue from WoW and just build up a bunch of things you can purchase from the event vendors over the years. They can still add things to the mogstation for those that miss the event and don't want to wait or just want to throw cash at what they want.
The reason WoW sells old event items is because the events themselves never change. The only real change they've ever made are the daily boss fights for a possible mount. Beyond that it's been pretty much rehashed content since day 1.Good news, you can now purchase those past event items (from the mogstation)! I'm fairly sure they made a few updates such as the wickerman ceremony and broom riding (which should be interesting this year considering the state of one location) for example to the halloween event. There are parts that are still the same, but they added on to them. We've had the manor run twice now, but rewards get stripped/replaced and I think "* Certain items available during previous iterations of the event can be obtained via the All Saints' Wake vendor." being plastered at the end of the event notices really gives false hope that maybe the mogstation hasn't swallowed up another set of holiday items. Personally, I'd like to stop having to shovel a boatload of items off into storage/retainers/apartments because they won't be available in game ever again.

Wow changes thing every once in a while and when they change things it's usually to add things to do and they have A LOT more events happening. Most events here are just a cute story quest and a repeatable activity. Moonfire Faire had no faire!

It was like that years ago. Then the Mog Station came, and that option went away. SE is just a business, after all, so these things are kinda expected from them. But the community is partly at fault about that, as plenty of people didn't care about the change or even defended/justified it (among other stuff).Good news, you can now purchase those past event items (from the mogstation)! SE knows people will throw their wallets at them. That's why they keep doing it. At this point the cat's out of the bag and living in Panama by now. There's no going back and, sadly, no changing peoples' ways.It was like that years ago. Then the Mog Station came, and that option went away. atm all the artists are likely at work on the expansion and 4.5, but maybe theyll surprise us with something cool?

"Sir, we need new items for Halloween: the Holiday where you wear costumes and go out with other people in costumes to show off your costume to get candy. What should we make?"
Make everything except costumes
