What do people think of a daily rotation with 8v8 Feast? We have 3 maps that it can rotate through. The old Feast maps could get some use outside of custom matches.

4v4 preferrably, but anything that gets feast training / unranked mode going is a boon on making people try it!
Love the idea as Frontline challenge revived seal rock and borderline ruins.
yes, 8v8 on the rotatiion as it doesnt have role restrictions, so overall fast queues, exp points and currencies.
4v4 can stay as it is like now
Regarding Crystal Tower, what would be more suitable for 8v8? The big circular map that we had during 4.2x or a bigger version of the current CT map we have now? I think the current CT map is too small for 8v8.
8v8 had bigger versions of 4v4 maps, for example, on linchenweed, it was similiar to 4v4 one but wider and it was some sort of donut, a circle.
feasting grounds had different height levels, 3 iirc, while 4v4 feast grounds had max 2 heigh levels
i would say any map, as long as there is space, maybe dont make linear bridges, it would be too unbalanced, previous two maps had either 2 big entrance or 1 big and 2 small on the sides of base
I think they should make a dungeon style map for 8v8. Basically, it's like a normal FFXIV dungeon with monsters/mobs, and a boss that spawns at the center of the map (which should be designed like the Feasting Grounds with walls and large pillars) complete with its own mechanics.
The size of the map should be small enough to make melees much more effective (unlike the large scale Frontlines and Astrologos).
The object of the game is to destroy an opposing team's Aether Crystal near the spawn of the opposing team.
However, to get to that Aether Crystal, the teams have to fight through monsters/mobs (like you would in a normal dungeon) and the boss at the center of the map... and of course, the opposing team.
The heavy medal system should be used... however, medals can be spent back at the team's spawn to purchase a +1 upgrade to either Weapon or Armor (in the same way deep dungeon weapons and armor are upgraded by opening silver chests). Medals are earned by killing monsters/mobs and the boss at the center (all of which spawn every 2 mins), and more medals awarded for killing players.
The end. XD I don't know, I think this is a good idea. Who wouldn't want to PvP in a small version of Copper Bell Mines or Bardam's Meddle? Stun or bind a player in the boss' AoE to score a kill? Or become so strong from all the upgrading that the opposing team is destined to lose? LOL I think this would be fun. ^_^
Anyway, just throwing out an idea for the upcoming expansion.

What about a crude and pure deathmatch like the old wolves den, the fold.
