Do different dungeons of the same tier have different loot tables?

In trying to get the full tanking set from those dungeons, I've run Ala Mhigo, Kugane Castle and Temple of the Fist a combined total of 23 times so far yet the helm and the pants still allude me.

So what I'm wondering is do the different dungeons have different loot tables, or different drop percentages for certain items?

Nope, dungeons released at the same time drop the same loot at the same rates. Just bad RNG.

This is only true for the HW and SB dungeons - in ARR the loot tables used to differ.

So while it doesnt matter for the OP, since Ala Mhigo, Kugane Castle and Temple of the Fist have indeed the same loot tables, I wanted to add this for a more accurate answer!

Modern dungeons do not. However, there are a single pair of dungeons that have an exception.
iLvl 45 dungeons:
Wanderer's Palace
Amdapor Keep
The boss loot table is basically the same. However, only Wanderer's Palace contains chests that carry component materials for crafting the iLvl 55 component weapon for the ARR Relic Weapons.

Yes, true, but I considered the dungeons in question and the character level and determined that to be irrelevant, especially since the loot tables now match in the ARR dungeons.

Sometimes the bosses have the loot tables swapped around, but the last one will always drop chest and pants/possible minions or mount.

Snowcloak/Sastasha Hard/Sunken Temple Hard is the set of dungeons where they decided against putting certain pieces of gear in specific dungeons, and it's been like that ever since.


It's just the RNG not giving loot, it likes doing that, and it feeds on pure malice.
