Skipping cutscenes in MSQ Roulette

I am glad they did that. At first I thought I will have to skip those scenes and view them later, at my inn room, since that was the perception I got from watching guides. But I guess those guides were old and my experience in Castrum and Praetorium was much better because of this change. I do understand those that do not want to watch them for the n-th time, as they are unnecessarily long and they do appear to be longer than fights themselves. But you guys do have countless other dungeons, trials or raids to farm, while 1-50 MSQ only has those two to finish it and watching cutscenes while doing dungeon does make the entire experience more enjoyable.

Being a mentor doesn't mean that I, or any other mentors, are required to do anything. We exist however to help when we can, however we can. If we don't feel like it we don't feel like it. There are no obligations. But if at least some of us didn't want to be helpful, we would leave our crowns off. I leave mine on. That doesn't mean I'm at anyone's beck and call though. There are some people who probably shouldn't be mentors but wear the crown anyway, but that's not everyone.

Thank you for clearing out who or what mentor is supposed to be. I was thinking of contacting a mentor for some help, but now I will think twice before I approach one of you.

It's people like yourself that need to understand what a Mentor is. You clearly don't. Believe it or not, we are players just like everyone else. And true mentors help those in need of assistance to the best of their ability or for however much time they're able. But there are times where we can't or are unwilling to do so. We've got things to do too, you know.

I agree. I don't (didn't) understand what a Mentor is. Hence me thanking you before. I thought a Mentor is someone with a knowledge of skills and/or other game systems AND the desire to help others. I am guessing it's a boss/leader type situation. You know, everyone can be a boss, but only certain individuals can be a leader.

Oh boy! Has this become another thread talking trash about mentors? We never have quite enough of those.
