    so i fixed it by my friend sending me his game files and putting those on my computer. I unfortunately lost almost if not over a week worth of subscription time due to this issue and I am unsure if I will keep going with ff14 especially when I get a new computer and have to try reinstalling and I have played ff14 on and of since a realm reborn came out so it is honestly a shame that such an issue has happened

    My assumption is that either your browser or your anti-virus/firewall was interfering with the file, but I can't tell for certain. I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue.
