    Aside from Balmung the main RP servers are Mateus for NA and Omega for EU. The only other ones I've heard mention of with RP communities are Jenova and Siren, though I don't have any information on how lively the rp groups on those two servers are.

    I've been hearing about RP events going down on Hyperion. I'm still apart of the facebook community from when I was on that server during 2.0-3.0 so I see people post ads for events from time to time, but I can't say first hand how big or lively the RP community is there.

    Realistically Mateus is your next best bet.

    RP can happen anywhere, but reaching the critical mass it takes to be a regular occurrence is not so easy.

    Balmung's probably still the biggest, but Mateus and Omega are next in line. Faerie, Hyperion, Jenova, Marlboro, and Siren also all have RPers on their servers.

    You can find a few listings on the RPC, which is one of the main sites for helping RPers coordinate.

    Disclaimer: These are only the ones who've posted on the RPC. There are many more groups out there who don't use the RPC, but also RP.

    While the server's open, for sure. But that's not always everyone's cup of tea. While our server is huge and the markets are great for people buying, things are undercut without any reason and few items stay profitable beyond a week at best. It could also be a case of "I'm not interested in huge crowds in all the main hubs" or so. And that's ignoring the public mentality that people thing Balmung is an ERP server, and help spread the rumor without ever having actually been on it or seen any.

    i've heard this quite often about Omega, but i never witnessed any form of RP or RP-FC's like there are in mateus and balmung so why are people saying that its the EU RP server
