That doesn't answer their prompt for you.
Frankly, if you're getting told to play better you should be happy you're seen as having the potential to clear something. The silent kicks are used for the unsalvageable ones.
I haven't had this told to me for a long, long time thankfully, and I consider myself to be fairly competent. Never hear any complaints about my dps, and I'm usually just behind the tanks with threat generation in all content so...I must be doing something right. But I remember back in ARR when I first started that people would criticize me playing as DRG. The climax was when I was trying to do Garuda normal mode and we couldn't down it. The group waited for me to leave. It was then I had to think "wow, I must be doing something very wrong..." and at lvl 50 I began my journey of improvement. I became a dang good one, I'd say before I dropped it for SAM. The point of this however is that anyone can improve if they want to, though to varying degrees. But I feel people should do their best regardless. That's all anyone can ask of them.
This is only true if the party in question are polite with their criticisms when they do give them. I don't think "dps better noob" counts as acknowledging any potential. I have seen people clearly take joy in being overly harsh. Once I saw someone openly admit they were being rude to get someone to leave because they couldn't initiate a kick due to unclaimed loot.
Sometimes people kick silently because they can't be bothered to give advice and want a better replacement fast, not because they think they're a lost cause. It's also to avoid drama as often even the most polite criticism can result in friction. And of course there's wanting to hide that you're using a parser.
You my friend are like the bluntest down to earth person I met on these forums. Loving these post.
hence why majority of the time i dont raid/savage or even do Ex primals. i mostly do expert roulette once aday/story when its available and eureka for when relic comes out and i dont really talk much lol dont have time for savage anyways. havent done anything endgame really since end of ARR. most ppl i see in duty finder for roulettes and i never see again

It's perfectly fine to do anything you can back up with votes. This is only true if the party in question are polite with their criticisms when they do give them. Be grateful someone said something, even if rude, instead of reaching for a kick.
