Can check logs to see who rolled. Not reportable though.
Report them for what? Going afk for 5 minutes?
Because that's most likely all a GM is going to see unless someone says in chat that they're going to sit there for the whole duration. In which case, you'll know who it is.
If you like the drop, you can wait five minutes for it. They sure are willing to do so.
It makes rolling a 99 knowing for a fact they wont get it all that much more pleasurable.
So you want a gm to take action against a persons account for going afk? Better hope you don’t ever run into any sort of real life issue that requires you to have to walk away ASAP at an inopportune time. I mean I would imagine most of the time it’s being done on purpose, but I’m sure it also happens because life happens. I mean I’ve seen peopke do this in super low level dungeons too. I doubt they are intentionally trying to mess with people so they can have a greater chance at getting that sweet level 20 belt. Potential for suspensions and banning over this is a bit much. It’s five minutes not 3 hours.
If someone has an emergency and has to afk then I can understand. But in that case let's have an auto-kick mechanism so others aren't wasting 5 minutes sitting around doing nothing. AFK for 1 minute gets an instance auto kick. Problem solved. But if someone is purposely refusing to roll until the very last second hoping people would leave, that's griefing and should be punished.
People tend to rush ahead in dungeons and raids not stopping to roll on loot, and this makes everyone else have to follow them or be left behind so its good we have time to roll on it later.
When people won’t roll I just do /sit and say in chat “Don’t worry; I’ll wait”; even if I know I won’t win any of the loot rolls. Eventually people will get fed up and roll if no one leaves; at least in my experience.

It kind of reminds me of those old contests where everyone puts their hand on a car or something, and if you remove your hand you're eliminated. People even do things to trick others like say, "I already rolled a 99 so you guys might as well bounce."
If it's something I am after, believe me; I put down my controller and hop on my laptop, make something to eat, or some other activity to eat up those five minutes. But at least I freakin roll on the damn loot. I finally got Scathbach after months of trying with a roll of like 18 or something pretty low because everyone got fed up and left.
It would be interesting if players who don't roll automatically forfeit the loot at the end of the timer.
