Someone on reddit did a test when it the instance was new and no one but him was in it early morning. It took 150 kills to get one NM to spawn (in anemos). The map isn't what is going to keep people from progressing, the very way Eureka is designed will do that. It's built around an entire instance coming together to spawn NMs, while they might be scaled based on the number of people there, spawning them will become impossible with time, especially with Pagos. Even with some stupid "fix" like letting us take our Squadrons there (I can totally see that being Yoshidas answer) you're just going to be unable to get these weapons in a few months. The map certainly doesn't help new players get to NMs when they do spawn, but in the long run NMs aren't even going to spawn anyway when interest in the instance dies out.
150 freaking kills.
Where it takes less mob kills to spawn NM's than in Pagos. Let that sink in for a minute. Once Pyrros hits, Pagos is pretty doomed unless they do something drastic (again)

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
After the first two nerfs to the zone, I was hoping that SE was going to continue to make progressive adjustments in order to get as many people through it as possible. Considering its been weeks since the last change along with the deafening silence about the situation, I have little hope that they are going to take sufficient corrective actions. I may be wrong, I hope I am wrong, I pray I am wrong... in all the times in my life when I wish I would be wrong but I have a bad feeling that I wont and Pagos is the end of our Eureka experience for many.
What's sad is that there is really a simple solution to a lot of Eureka's long term problems.
And that is Levequests. That reward lock boxes, or crystals. They could even have Grand Scale Leves that have a few waves, that finish in a NM style boss monster.
If you have everything max leveled (which isn't that hard to do), you've probably been sitting on 100/100 levequest allowances for a LONG time.
Keep the NM system in place if you want to, but there needs to be some sort of alternative if people want to solo.

Well, it’s official, you have to fully finish Pagos before being able to attempt Pyros.
Kinda curious to see a census of sorts to show us how many people have actually completed Pagos (have the 'Making the Most of Pagos' achievement). If it's less than 10%, or even 5%, then Pagos will definitely need to be hit with a super nerf bomb of sorts. Otherwise only a small amount of players will be entering Pyros, with those numbers potentially dropping even more if Pyros is just as bad as Pagos or people lose interest.
That effectively makes Eureka a waste of resources (which could have been used for a third Ultimate, which requires very little to begin with).
I have been trying to do my challenge log in Anemos to get to lvl 35. Trying to level in Pagos is almost impossible.
Depends on what "Completes" means. Got to 35? Not hard to do with Challenge log. Get a Pagos Relic? Hard now, will be nigh impossible once Pyrros starts.Kinda curious to see a census of sorts to show us how many people have actually completed Pagos (have the 'Making the Most of Pagos' achievement). Getting to Level 35 is still pretty hard, as you need to have a desire to actually do it. Challenge log or no.
I hopped into Pagos today, checked how many people were in it (~30) and then left a minute later because... I just cannot be stuffed. I even entered Anemos to see if I could solo some of the monsters, but then got hit with apathy again and left the zone.
Also doesn't help that I'd prefer to play more interesting games than level up just so I can finally get started on an outdated weapon.

Implying that a fight most players never see except on youtube isn't also a waste of resourcesThat effectively makes Eureka a waste of resources (which could have been used for a third Ultimate)
