Eureka is still ruined because of Pagos

Pagos is still bad. It’s so bad it ruined Anemos. The minor light gain is not enough to get enough ppl to come back. All of the items are still locked behind a wall of low drop %. Leveling isn’t bad any more but I honestly feel bad for those that aren’t 35 because I don’t see how they’ll ever get there. I have 1 Elemental and that’s all I’ll ever get even if I wanted to come back. Also who was asking for the exit to be more visible?

idk I got 9 crystals in under 3 hours today, and another 7 after lunch in about 2, so the first 2 steps of the relic done in about 5 hours, in another 5 I should have it complete. So, I don't think the light gain in by any means minor...
Also got 4 lvls in 2 hours on my alt just afking at icepoint and joining pts for the nms on the southern half of the map, so lvling is crazy fast too now too.

It's still not well designed, but its leaps and bounds better now than it was before. If ppl want relics at least the grind is next to nothing now so if Pyros is decent it wont be any worse than the fate steps in the last 2 relics questlines. The drop rates aren't any worse, they just didnt put the items in chests this time. Lest we forget how painful it was to get rex for some. And honestly its no worse than Anemos now, it just has the stink of Pagos still attached, so ppl will remain salty about it even if they can get in and out in a few days if they really wanna push it.

I don't understand why the drop rates here are bad but ppl will grind the same ex trial 99 times for a mount, not including wipes and learning pts, and not bat an eye.

Well I think it will take most people more than 99 times to get things like the emote or hakutaku eyes with how bad the drop rates are. At least with the trials you know the suffering will end at some point.

Yeah I could manage to enjoy Anemos and I have always finished getting at least 1 relic weapon, but with Pagos, I just quit and couldn't even get to lvl 30 even as I couldn't start doing Pagos until 2 weeks later due to vacation and by then everyone had gone to max lvl and getting groups who took in a lower lvl player was almost impossible

They either should kill off Eureka, or make some serious changes to making the grind at least a tiny bit fun and not a boring chore :/

Pagos is just mindless grinding and I hate it, I will never get the weapons (one per job) in there if they don't make it as easy as they are to obtain in Anemos...


It's just a pointless waste of time when I can have fun doing something else!...

perhaps, and im not defending the content cause it is still bad. But they did make drops rates, exp and light incredibly easy to get now. It's no worse than Anemos at this point, it is just tainted by how bad it used to be.

But you add up the minutes and you are likely spending more time grinding out the same trial, dodging the same 5 mechanics and doing the same dps race than you would be collecting all the items in pagos at this point with no complaints. Which to me makes zero sense. And fighting the same boss 99 times, not including fail and learning pts is not any more fun than fighting the same trash mobs and less varied than fighting 12+ different nms. Then we must include the fact that many of us run the exact same dungeons day in and day out. That's not any different either, we just have become accustomed to it.

I guess its all perspective. Cause its the same thing either way with just a different coat of paint. The only difference is Pagos we can complete and put behind us super fast now. Ex trials, dungeons, these are all part of other content and roulettes so they are just never escapable. tbh this whole game is a mindless, neverending grind when you look at it

Being that I'm still only level 22 in Eureka, I do hope there's someway to bypass Pagos when the new content arrives, or I'll never see it.

There are ways in-game to make the grind bareable like adding Daily Quests ex. (Beast Tribe/Leves) Now Mo one is even doing Pagos

Relic used to be a grind you could do at anytime and at any pace.You can't do that with the way Eurukas designed. Anemos has the Fate train at the very least for the lower levels to catch up. Pagos on the other-hand if you haven't leveled through it by now have to spend forever setting up parties and getting people to stick around. The worst offender is, were nearing the final part of Euruka and we still don't have level sync to play with friends.
