You mentioned that your drivers are updated via Drivebooster, however, it looks like your graphic card isn't up to date. I'm not sure if it's not updated properly or if it's just not reflecting on the system report for some reason. My GPU was updated to the september version but anyways, I went ahead and updated it to the last as you suggested.

Restarted FFXIV and it seemed as if it was reset (asking to start a free trial). Anyways, after some confirmation I managed to log back in. So I restarted the game and it froze again, exactly in this loading screen https://i.imgur.com/1g3Bi5Y.png

I'm basically still stuck in the same spot where I got the freeze: Kugane aetherite. But this time restarting the computer 12 times didn't work.

This is not the first time it happens in Kugane, I'm starting to think that there might be something specifically in that city that makes my PC fart. Is there a way to "unstuck" my character and teleport it somewhere? Maybe if my character got moved to another city we could test if it's indeed Kugane or a general issue. Again, today I played perfectly fine for hours and did dungeons and raids with no problems. It happened the moment I decided to teleport to Kugane

Edit: now that I think about it, I got this error ALWAYS with this loading screen . IIRC, this is specifically Kugane loading screen, right?

Edit2: I confirm it. It's specifically Kugane the problem. I logged in with a dummy character in Ul'dah and the game works fine. It's when I log my main (which is trapped in Kugane right now) that my pc freezes. How can I "reset" my character position? That might fix the issue, even though I still don't understand what's the main cause.
