    PVP needs alot of work still

    PVP was fine before stormblood, all se did was make us vets get more kills than usual. I feel the problem with pvp is rewards make it worth grinding. This is my only issue with the game and has been since we only had wolves den. I like turning on TERA & Neverwinter & ESO and having a reason to skip all and pvp all day. I wish se saw this and loaded up the pvp merchants. Also maybe a massive pvp area like Anemos & Pagos would fill the needs of the open world & seige pvp wants. FFXIV has the most balanced pvp and could easily be the best if they had few more creative minds at the studio. I have much more i wanna say but I already have over the years and was painfully worthless to speak about it.

    I agree with the OP that the rewards need to be a little more obtainable/rewarding so that players are more inclined to PvP. Leave the 100 and 200 win mounts but add some other fun stuff in-between that's not just glamours. I also believe The Feast should have items that you can buy once you reach a certain rank or something along those lines in order to give people something to strive for outside of the end of season rewards. I enjoy the PvP but it takes an eon to get into anything, if you even get into it at all.

    I agree, saddly this wont happen probably because of the demographic is too worried about glamour and se caters to them. They had chances to do this many times but never have. I missed when secure first launched it was when ffxiv pvp was the most fun but now it feels like se just likes to rinse and repeat with ffxiv pvp.

    yeah, nobody does training unless it's pre-season and there's an event for it, like something going on in the Wolf Pups Den discord.

    Feast in particular needs a lot of work. If they want that to be the standard by which they build all the other forms of PVP (I saw this in an interview), then they need to take care f oit and nurture it -- and not with that carrot-on-a-stick that requires an insane amount of time to just wait and hope that queues pop, let alone that you get matched with people who know what they're doing and not go all leeroy jenkins in the middle of the arena.

    "We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
    "We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
    "We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
    "We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
    "We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
    "We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.

    It has a lot of potential for growth but what are the devs doing with it? not a lot thats for sure. I'm surprised we haven't had skill additions to all jobs yet like old pvp skills back in heavensward such as Testudo, Full swing etc. We also still dont have the old maps back which is a shame because when they were in rotation it was interesting since both had different strats to them. would love a huge zone to pvp in like OP said but I guess thats pretty much frontlines in a way.

    Honestly, in my opinion the only changes that would make the Feast PvP competitive enough would be:

    • Change server structure to allow higher ping players (200-300ms) to be able to hit moving targets;
    • Remove Healers: a good healer alone can carry the team 90% of the time (the skill-gap between new and old healers are abysmal) and make it 3v3;
    → Another option would be to change Healers into a more supportive role, giving more DPS abilities, rather than pure heals.
    • Add Potions to accommodate the removal of healers and grant limited chances of survival, with short cooldowns;
    • Decrease the arena size and remove obstacles;
    • Remove loading screens from respawns;
    • Change the medal system and turn into a TDM instead, since medals are focused on Healers.
