Yes, there is. If you have poor DPS (and I have seen it), the large floor AOE will expand all the way towards the edge if all four of those dragon head adds aren't dead. You will wipe at that part and have to restart the fight from the beginning.
Guess I have to wait when I have full set of Genesis tome gear before trying this dungeon. Just want to finish MSQ and be ready for the next expansion. I have no interest in raiding or doing high tier fights.
Nah that would make it way TOO easy. Genesis gear is 390 unaugmented, and the dungeon is designed for 340. if you want to make sure you dont have a hard time just run it with friends who know what they're doing.
And I really would encourage you to at least do the normal raids. It gives access to tomestone weapons of that tier and normal mode is not that bad (with the exception of O11 with a really bad group) O10 was bad on patch day but now doesnt seem so hard as long as people know mechanics.

.....You don't need a full set of Genesis gear to finish the dungeon, that's being a little paranoid towards the extreme. It's mainly on people knowing what they're doing.
Bought the i380 crafted weapon to tie me over. From what I read on the forums people aren't very tolerant of new people in raids that need to learn. Granted I've only been playing for two months so far. Been going FC-less so no friends at the moment to help me as they either empty or all on discord which I don't use.Nah that would make it way TOO easy. Thanks for the advice though.
That has not been my experience at all, for the vast majority of the time anyway. Usually people are patient and nice if you say its your first time and will explain mechanics.
Right. It's challenging for about a week, until everyone gets an item or two from tomes and alpha, then it's comically boring and easy.
Hang in there, you'll be watching TV and running these laughable dungeons again, before you know it.
I'm not a bad player and I do savage and clear just fine when I have the time, but I think your definition of "laughably easy" is very different from mine. Claiming you can do even normal mode current raids while actually paying attention to the TV instead of reserving some for your rotation and mechanics is like selling the brooklyn bridge.
Precisely... before Thanksgiving, half the playerbase will be lamenting that everything is easy, they have nothing to spend tomes on, Pagos is still annoying and they are bored with nothing to do.
Please look forward to it.
