Thisssssssss. People are so unused to pressing buttons that suddenly anything harder than faceroll is "impossible for casuals!"
one did not tell me its impossible now just very hard, and i like to see myself as pretty decent if i have to believe friends. However, as the title said, i am scared for the future. If this trend continues. And just want to voice my concern about dungeons that have equal difficulty to savage stuff in -Future- patches like this. If you follow the trend from. 4.0 to now.
One did not see me tell, i mean. No edit option on forum on phone it seems.
If its but a spike, okay. Plz i dont want this growth in difficulty becoming the new trend. That each patch should be much harder than the one before.
The Burn is not even close enough to Savage difficulty for you to worry about that in the slightest.one did not tell me its impossible now just very hard, and i like to see myself as pretty decent if i have to believe friends. However, as I suggested: They should still increase the difficulty, even in "casual" content slowly, but steadly. Not to ever reach Savage-levels, but to reach levels that are appropriate to ask from a player at max-level, who went through hundres of dungeons in hundreds of hours (and even as a casual player: you did do that - unless you bought a jump potion, in which case: no pity from me, go and learn the stuff you should have learend by playing through all of this).
Its called "expert roulette" - but not for a reason - currently you dont even have to be close to an expert.
People seem to have this weird idea that its either savage-difficult or not difficult at all, while there is a middle ground and they need to be working on that as much as they need to work on leading people to that middle ground.
Dungeon wont be savage-difficult - however, I certainly hope that they also stop to be faceroll easy. That they stop being so mindlessly easy that people can get away with using only 3 skills and watching netflix on their second screen.
I agree, each patch shouldnt be much harder than the one before that - but each patch should be a bit harder than the one before. Thats exactly what we need - increasing the difficulty, step by step, with each patch - instead of keeping it at the level that it has been for the most part, which is just... sad.

The Burn is not nor anywhere even close towards remotely being on equal difficulty towards Savage. That is extreme hyperbole taking over and talking.one did not tell me its impossible now just very hard, and i like to see myself as pretty decent if i have to believe friends. Can we please stop spreading that unnecessary paranoia and fear mongering around?
In all of the times I've run Expert, I've only seen one wipe on The Burn. Even when tanks have dropped dead from damage being more than what was originally expected. And I've pretty much always gone with pugs.
Generally speaking, people seem to have a handle on the dungeons.
Dont they already have games for people like this? AFK Heros or something where you just press the start button then you leave the game alone, even turn it off, and your team will go on adventures for you, get loot, explore dungeons, gain exp and levels, and almost always win.
Find me one game that is the same difficulty throughout and i'll show you a really boring game...
If anything the optional dungeons should have higher learning curves than the MSQ dungeons not the other way around. On the dungeon itself the mechanics to the boss aren't anything new we haven't done in the past. You should have a grasp on your job by now at 70 what does what and when to use it. Avoid orange circles and if you are having trouble with a mechanics ask questions etc.
If anything dungeons should be around this difficulty level on release, having some challenge and not being completely face-roll. I honestly can't see much fun in going into a new dungeon without knowing anything and just nuking everything while getting hit with everything without consequences. As people get higher ilvl the dungeon will indirectly get nerfed.
The first two bosses are a complete joke to beat in comparison to the Mist Dragon. The mechanics are extremely simple, and aren't punishing enough, to the point you can ignore them and live.
Mist Dragon though? Nope. I get to watch people wake up and try to be better than facerolling the keyboard to win. Healers may need to spend a little more time healing than doing damage, but that's fine. Also, the AoE damage isn't exactly ADS enrage mode, you know?
