Can check logs to see who rolled. Not reportable though.
Report them for what? Going afk for 5 minutes?
Because that's most likely all a GM is going to see unless someone says in chat that they're going to sit there for the whole duration. In which case, you'll know who it is.

If you like the drop, you can wait five minutes for it. They sure are willing to do so.

It makes rolling a 99 knowing for a fact they wont get it all that much more pleasurable.

So you want a gm to take action against a persons account for going afk? Better hope you don’t ever run into any sort of real life issue that requires you to have to walk away ASAP at an inopportune time. I mean I would imagine most of the time it’s being done on purpose, but I’m sure it also happens because life happens. I mean I’ve seen peopke do this in super low level dungeons too. I doubt they are intentionally trying to mess with people so they can have a greater chance at getting that sweet level 20 belt. Potential for suspensions and banning over this is a bit much. It’s five minutes not 3 hours.
If someone has an emergency and has to afk then I can understand. But in that case let's have an auto-kick mechanism so others aren't wasting 5 minutes sitting around doing nothing. AFK for 1 minute gets an instance auto kick. Problem solved. But if someone is purposely refusing to roll until the very last second hoping people would leave, that's griefing and should be punished.

auto kick after 1 minute? that's barely enough time for a quick pee, except maybe when you skip the part where you are washing your hands... :OIf someone has an emergency and has to afk then I can understand. the loot timer could be reduced, 5 minutes is indeed more time than we need, but i am strictly against any sort of auto kick. the party should decide if a person gets kicked or not. just consider the tank has to be afk for 2 - 3 mins - happy fun requeing, i bet the dps jobs will love that auto kick feature.
this idea punishes the wrong people and doesn't solve anything.

So seven other humans need to wait for you to run off and handle your business because you could not spend an additional 20 seconds to roll for loot?
As Seddrinth said above, anyone would understand an emergency... that's absolute standard. But this?

I wanted to point out that you will get kicked every time you go afk for more than 1 minute with this idea, even without loot to roll on or when you already have rolled. I finish the fight, roll on the loot, jump on the toilet - and when I come back I got kicked because it took longer than 1 minute. And because someone else didn't rolled, without being afk, I now lost my chance to get the loot?
I am all for shortening the timer on the loot, so you don't have to wait 5 minutes anymore, but an auto-kick has too many negative side effects and does nothing against people who are not afk but don't roll for whatever reason.
I would suggest to shorten the timer to 3 minutes. That's enough time to watch the cutscene at the end and compare the loot with your current stuff.
