Is the last part of the fight with Sadu a DPS check? I'm iLevel 372 Red Mage. About where should my stats be to be able to complete that last part. 2 tries and failed each time. My current stats are: Crit 1401, Det 1521, DH 1676. Also is Sadu's HP link to any of her adds? My main hand is Shishio Kai, iLevel 370. Replies will be appreciated.

I'm not sure if the adds buff her or something but a FC mate had issues with the last phase too. I did it as a tank without issue, I took out the adds first out of habit and then focused on dpsing her.

As far as I can remember, the adds just do an aoe. I believe I just killed one of them to give myself a safespot, then focused on Sadu for the rest of the fight.

I did it with i346 whm.
Staying at the edge of the barrier really helps when dodging the aoes. I simply ignored adds and burned her down.

I cannot do this fight. I can deal with all her phases easily as an RDM with 380 ilvl and 4 melds on each piece of gear, but I cannot do the last phase at all. I've tried and tried, but either I die because I run out of health trying to kill her and not healing myself, or I almost have her dead and that 1 minute timer runs out. I've tried killing the adds because she will sacrifice health but then the timer runs out. I don't mind a challenge, but something like this - which is almost an extreme primal fight really isn't a good idea for something we need to do to adnvance in MSQ. Either take out some of the aoe (3 different types of aoes from the adds, plus hers?) or give us 2 minutes on that timer. I know I am not the only one who can't do this fight, I have been looking it up in hopes to figure out a way to get past it and see mostly people saying they can't either. I am not a great player. I am decent, but I have a horrible habit of zigging into aoe rather than zagging out of the way. I don't do savage modes of any of the primals/auspices/raids, those are not what are fun for me. Please, SE, tone this down so those of us who aren't that great at these kind of fights can move on with the story? Pretty please?

I struggled with it on my first character who had ilevel 369 at the time. I stopped trying to kill the adds, completely ignored them, and finished that phase with oodles of time to spare. When I went in on my second character in only ilevel 355 i knew to ignore the adds, and again finished that phase with tons of time to spare. So just ignore adds and zerg.

I know I am not the only one who can't do this fight, I have been looking it up in hopes to figure out a way to get past it and see mostly people saying they can't either.

Part of the reason you see more people saying they cant clear the fight is that a lot of the people who did clear the fight didnt even realize that some people were having a problem(some people also dont like to appear to be bragging). I did this fight on the 2nd or 3rd day after the patch went live. I saw one or two posts titled similarly to this, but i didnt read any to avoid spoilers. As an ilvl 363 BLM i had absolutely no trouble with any phase of this encounter(yes, i realize that comparing across classes isnt ideal but the game lacks a way for me to redo this fight without leveling another character). Her health seemed to be dropping about as fast as a striking dummy's, and she never made a significant dent in my hp. One thing to consider if youre still having trouble is the echo. Almost all solo instances will enable the echo if you meet the right requirements. For this fight, try doing the first couple non-timed phases a little more slowly(obviously go full speed when theres a timer on you). If you stretch the fight out long enough you might trigger the echo in failure, giving you the little boost you need to get by(you also might just win, and that works too). Otherwise, her last phase is basically dodge and shoot - the adds can be safely ignored.

I know they need to fix the quest to take in the very bad lag that some of player base gets. I gave up on it because lag got me killed all times tried it. In next stage never could get past It was like he was using haste and never could have time to target and heal Hien so kept on dying and caused me to fail. They need to separate the 2 battles so if fail second battle don't have to redo the first battle again. Also very hard if have one bad hand and can't move same speed as younger players do. But that's SE for you they never think of handicap players or players with very bad ping. Hope in future they think of that and make it more compliant.

I'm sorry, what? This fight is as simple as "hit buttons, avoid AoE" Your buttons don't even need to be fast or in the right order. I met all the DPS requirements on a tank and it wasn't close, there's no reason you should fail unless you're eating all the AoE's.

If you're having trouble, that's one thing, but exaggerating the difficulty to try and get it nerfed is another.

The only part of the fight Hien is actually in danger is when the 2 of them do their LB on him. That move does a bit over 50% of his health. The game also makes it clear when theyre going to do it. And the heal they give you is also worth more then 50% of his health. They present it as a pair of 1 on 1 matches happening at once, but if youre worried you can help Hien with his target. DoT his guy(reapply as needed), heal yourself whenever you get down to about half, heal him anytime he gets below 75%. If you do this, their LB cant kill Hien(obviously heal him after) and once he finishes his target(with a bit of help from you) the two of you will stop the Magnai in a hurry.

The person saying that doesnt actually run savage or extreme fights, so they dont know what theyre talking about.
