[Suggestion] /shout changes

can't do that across zones. not the way it's set up.

Of course that's not the way it's currently set up, but it doesn't mean that they couldn't change it.

XI (SE's only other MMO for the unfamiliar) used to have shouts work only in single zones like XIV. They then changed it so that a shout from any major city can be seen in all of them.


I'd be down with it I think, my only (small) complaint is that sometimes it is nice being able to "escape" to one of the quieter zones when you don't want to deal with the shout chat.

I know this wasn't your suggestion, but I definitely do not want all cities to be connected like they are in XI. With XI, it was more of a necessity at it's current stage of life. I can only imagine the horrors if they did the same to XIV - All of Balmung would be subject to the horrors that is known as Ul'dah shout spam.
