Mission 8 for Ul'duh

Oh man im having a hard time and want some idea how to complete this mission and get to the crystal without haveing to be chased and killed by a bunch of lv 80+ mobs. Ideas please

yea i just need a way into mor dhona. the black shroud way in has tons of lv 80 mobs in a narrow space and the coerthas was in has a narrow space with evil eyes that i cant get around

If you're running into level 80 mobs in Black Shroud, you're going the wrong way. Take the northern route through Crimson Bark. That said, I never did get through Black Shroud doing this quest; I wound up solving it by coming in through Thanalan. The Evil Eyes can be run past with a chocobo, some defensive buffs and waiting for the right timing. Remember that they're sight-based, so they won't detect you if you're behind them, but even if you can't totally avoid detection, you can still often run past them. Even if they knock you off the choco, you're still faster than they are and have a chance of getting away.

I don't think there's a *good* way to get to this location at the intended level. I believe SE was reconsidering the monster placement to make it easier to get to from the Black Shrouds route.

But at the moment, you will have to learn the aggression patterns of all the enemies and/or hope for a high level player to assist you, as all enemies will one-shot you.

Even when you arrive in the next location, there is no bind point that you can get to without the same high risks.

This is simply not true. With good armor and defensive buffs, the Evil Eyes will NOT one-shot you. If you're lucky, it might even take them three shots to kill you.
