New Uznair and the roulette

Is it me or does the roulette wheel seem to always find a chance to land on purple? If it stops 1 spot away from purple it'll move onto it and stay there. If it's 2 stops away from purple it'll move twice to land on it. If it's already on purple it'll stay there, unless purple is also 2 stops away and then it'll troll you and move those 2 spots. But if you land on or next to a really good one then the roulette will do everything to make sure you either miss it or move off it. It feels like it's totally rigged.

I'm fairly sure the result get determined immediately when you interact with the arcane sphere. For the roulette, the game just randomizes an animation that ends on whatever panel was already determined to be the result.

Pretty sure it's the same system that the normal Canales use where it's determined by the random roll for each action. Which means it roll for how many slots to go. Next would be a roll for if it skips slots, and then it lands on purple see if it's a kick out or fake out.

Could be wrong, but don't see why they would reinvent the wheel for this.

Low chances as usual but I've made it to the end of the roulette-style shifting altars 1 time. I've never reached the end of hidden canals with the 3 doors before. Shifting altars only needs 5 invocations for a clear run and I think the 1st invocation is a guaranteed win so it's not too painful.

I have been kicked out in the first invocation this week, so no, it's not a guaranteed win. I think the result is determined before but which of the (possibly trolley) animation is shown is random as well, same as in the old canals.

So you entered and didn't even get to do 1 battle and was kicked?

That must be really bad luck if true. I've been in there about 40 times and never seen that happen.

Yep, incredibly frustrating ... but you a bit of pain tolerance anyway if you do maps

I never have but somebody I played with claims to have landed on it twice before, and the wiki says the silver tile summons matanga prince boss. Based on my experience alone I would have guessed you can't land on silver but apparently you can.

Yes, we did... I believe we had both silver and gold last weekend. Then again, we did do a lot of maps.
