Honestly, I think I've been in your place before (but not as serious). It might not be the same, but I play games a lot as a distraction, to cope, and to vent. My problems are difficult and I dont always want to deal with them right away.
To truely quit a game, I think you should try and find something in real life to distract you from gaming at all. Something fun and engaging that you want to do in your spare time instead of gaming. What I'm trying to say is, find a good hobby irl, maybe one that doesn't require a lot of time and money, or none at all.
Also, this is easier said than done but try and let go of whatever goals you still have in the game (if any). Let the game take less priority more and more over time. Then, I guess try and enjoy life more if you can, or deal with whatever problems you're facing. This is just an alternative method if you dont want to delete your account for whatever reason. That's all I can say and good luck!
