Messed Up on the Mog Station

So, I apparently had a not so smart moment and bought an emote that I already had. Is there anything I can do with/about this? The book that gives the emote looks like its prohibited from trade, market board, and vendor. So it appears my only option is to literally throw money away lol? Anyone have luck getting a refund from SE in this circumstance? Seems like since its a book still it obviously hasn't been used and no value received by the purchaser that a GM could remove the item from inventory and credit your account with Crysta or something.

I'd contact the website support before a GM, I think. SE really doesn't like to do refunds and I don't think I've ever heard of them giving one. I don't really know what they could do for you except maybe transfer the book to a different character? But I do not claim that as a sure possibility. It's highly likely you will just have to eat that loss. :s

I think you can get a refund, but it might be a "once ever for your account" thing.

Instead of a refund try for an exchange, Like another emote you don't have. I had a similar moment with purchasing a level boost and sent it to the wrong toon and they were real good with exchanging with another.
