Some summoner actions not being enabled

I have a summoner that is level 48, however neither the Fester action nor the tri-bind action are enabled for me. They should have been enabled at levels 35 and 40, respectively. Is there some kind of special requirement, other than reaching the levels, to get them?

Progression in your jobs specific quest line.

If you paid attention you should have noticed the text at the end of the quest getting the soul crystal that you should come back to the questgiver and get further quests, also the nitification every time you unlocked a new stage of that quest line.

I did the class specific quests at 35, 40, and 45.

Did you equip your summoner soul crystal?
Did you have Aetherflow stacks?
First is required for both, the later for Fester.

Yes. I have been playing as summoner for about a week, now, just without Fester and Tri-bind.

Actually, maybe I haven't. I just looked at my completed class quests and it only shows up to level 30. Is that guy at the Arcanist guild the same guy I go to for the summoner?

I just googled it. Found out that I have to go to Y'mhitra in Gridania. Feeling dumb, now. Thanks for the help!

Once you equip your soul stone, available job quests will appear in your Scenario Guide HUD element -- the big red and parchment quest will be MSQ, while the smaller quest underneath is available class/job quests.

Also remember to save your gearset whenever you equip a new soul stone!
