    DoL XP Boost

So I heard that once you have a main battle class to 70 it gives an xp boost to other classes.

Is this the same for DoH/DoL? So for example I would level Botanist to 70, would that then give me an xp boost to Mining and Fishing?

fairly sure once you get any class to 70 it gives an xp buff to any class under 60 and a smaller buff after 60.

You don't need to reach 70.
The bonus exp is applied to any class under your highest levelled class.

No, and it is not level 70 for DoW/DoM.

Any time you play a DoW/DoM class/job that is not your highest level DoW/DoM job you get an XP bonus for monsters you kill, leve-quest rewards, and FATEs.
This bonus is 100% if your current class is level 1-59, and 50% for level 60+.

No such bonus exists for DoH/DoL classes.

My alt's highest levels are BOT and MIN 65. She is getting the 50% bonus on BRD 62, her highest combat job.

    Where is it coming from?

Rested Exp? If you have rested XP - the XP bar is blue - that will give you a 50% bonus to many Exp rewards

Uuggg This stupid rumor has been circulating for as long as the game has been around. Where in the world are people still getting this nonsense? After five years of people getting corrected EVERY SINGLE TIME it comes up, eventually shouldn't people figure out that it's nonsense and quit repeating it?

No, you do NOT have to be 70 to unlock the armory bonus. Nor do you have to be 50 or 60 as the ARR and HW era versions of this rumor tried to pretend. It unlocks where it always has, at LEVEL TEN, when you first unlock the ability to add additional classes.

As soon as you have multiple combat classes, all but your current highest one (combat ones only) will get the bonus. The amount of the bonus has nothing to do with what level your highest one is at, it's based exclusively on what level your current lower level class is at (100% while <60; 50% while 60+).

Sorry for getting snippy about that. It's just frustrating that people keep spreading false information for so many years after the correct version has been widely known and pointed out whenever the rumor is mentioned.

Calm yourself. It's not even a rumor, just a misunderstanding of a mechanic. Most people aren't coming here to the forums or to reddit or whatever to hang on the every word of random people posting stuff. They're just going to play the game and infer the workings of said game from their experiences. This can lead to an incorrect interpretation, which is then spread to other people, who are often still better off with a slightly incorrect interpretation than no information at all.
