Unexpected error occurred crash or just game crash without error..

Hi I got the game some days ago and started doing the MSQ.. In the first two days I had no problem playing.. but after that I get those errors...

I tried several fixes from people in the forum since yesterday. I don't know if it is relevant but today I tried playing without opening any other application.. I was able to complete 1 duty, 1 Heaven o High and more than 10 MSQ without any issue..

I got this error after opening Discord. Tried again with the app closed. I had no problem for some time but the I launch Chrome and the game just closed without error... While everything was closed I tried loading the game and in the "Now Loading" screen after I select my character the game either crashes without error on DX11 or gives me an Unexpected error message in DX9..

The things already tried are : Deleting the game completely and re-downloading again. Use ffxivboot.exe as administrator /and/or windows 7-8 compatibility. Deleting Amd drivers clean and downloading new ones. Windows 10 all updates installed. Changing DX9-11... I used many many many different graphic settings..

I don't know about old patches since I got the game some days ago.. So I can't be much help on those.. On another note... I have almost the same computer as my friend.. MB, Ram, CPU, GPU And he plays the game normally even with Discord, Chrome, etc open...

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

What is your graphics card? The FFXIV system report only lists it as 'AMD Radeon R9 200 Series'. Additionally, what driver version do you have? The report says your driver date is 5/16/2018, which I'm not sure is accurate if you installed the latest driver.

When you reinstalled the game, did you delete the locally saved files from the 'My Documents' folder(My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV)? If not, try deleting those and loading into your character.

I'd also suggest a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game. Additionally, it looks like it's triggered by opening other programs. Avoid doing this if you can.
