
Unless it relies on a Google service, which is why despite the fire running android, it can't really run many of the -good- applications and has to offer replacement APIs. It's not worth the upkeep if something typically uses a Google API that would be proprietary.As nice as it'd be to have more apps on the Amazon Appstore, it tends to be either completely ignored by app developers, or apps almost never get updated to where they are on other stores. I imagine backing up the APK and sideloading it on the tablet would probably work though if someone was desperate enough. Haven't tried so I can't be sure.
