    It's entirely possible? Many games have an auto config button that will pick the "most appropriate" settings for your system to ensure the best possible framerate, but usually it fails miserably and you end up playing with settings anyways... or just dragging everything to max. For instance, Oblivion thought my old PC should run at minimum spec, when it could actually be run at medium.
