That's what kinda annoys me in this game. Final Fantasy is known for it's giant sword wielding protagonists, who a lot of times are lightly armored. I know, this is old-school fantasy and it makes absolute sense as a Tank to wear heavy armor, but I wish we'd have more options to wear something less bulky. Like you said, I want to look slick and tight.

Hopefully the Tank gear won't make us look like Sundowner.

RIP Delinquent set, may a choir of Ora Ora's sing thee to thy rest...seriously, if Square ever decides to implement any of the runner ups, would love to see this one more than anything, I'm honestly surprised it didn't win tbh. Raiden set is...honestly unremarkable in almost every single way compared to the runner ups.

As for the ranged, its nice, looking forward to it, the last runner up, the green military coat, I think that one looks a bit better, would love to see this implemented later on, but the winner is a great design.

I just hope they make it look nice, they made the Lost Allagan tank set look like it was made of plastic and they used odd coloration and botched the mask of the casting set.

Still on the fence for that ranged DPS set, might get some use out of it depending on how the finished implementation looks like.
That melee set? I'm going to use the look for the whole two seconds it takes to glamour something else over it. Though I'll admit I'm curious how they'll turn a bodysuit into the obligatory robe for the healers.

I know many have instantly thought metal gear when looking at that melee winner, but for me the design feels like it was ripped right out of PSO2. It doesn't really do anything new... we've seen it before elsewhere.

Well maybe it will look better on a non-melee. Lost allagan for SAM is possibly Stormblood's best looking armour, despite the winning design being for tanks.
