The melee one is what I wanted to see win, I hope the healer version is similar.

For the melee dps. I would have rather had the 7th one down. The black and green hooded one. Even if they had to remove the gauntlet spikes to make room for the gauntlet weapons it would have been better than the body suit thing.

I like it.

I'm torn, though, since the set will need a subtle bulge on male characters if it's going to be that skin tight. Which is something I don't expect the developers to do...

I also hope some of the runner up sets make it into the game in the future. I'm a bit surprised by how often 'Allagan' looking sets win out, though. Especially when a lot of tomestone sets are allagan themed.

I like the winner for the melee set. It's sleek and probably fits with the expansion theme if we're headed to Garlemald.

Besides, we know SE files the runner ups away for future inspiration, anyway. Still, I liked the Gryphon Set of Maiming better. Delinquent is sexy due to the open chest design, but otherwise the style is not too dissimilar to existing gear. Runner up 6 would look awesome on a NIN or SAM.

The ranged one is not bad, either. Fits a MCH more so than a BRD, but it's an elegant aesthetic rather than BRD's more often than not gaudy ones.

I think the Shooting Ritual of the Sun one is not bad at all but it would certainly fit a caster dps better. The Regal Tunic was probably my fave.

While I'm not a huge fan of the melee winner, I'll wait to pass judgement until we see what it actually ends up as ingame. That being said, I really wonder how they are going to take such a minimalist set (it's a friggan catsuit with gauntlets/boots/helm slapped on) into distinctive gear sets for all the different jobs/roles for that tier. I have the terrible feeling that it's either just going to be a recolored catsuit for everyone or they are going to have to greatly depart from the original set's aesthetic in order to make them distinguishable.

I was thinking how good that'd look on a male midlander or au ra... or even elezen or catboy. It fits a svelt physique well.

I really hope that set makes it in one day! It's too good not to utilise. Caster version could be something like the Ascian robes, since it has that vibe to it.
