Maybe with the upcoming Garlean story, but the techy thing looks too outta place. The winner would have been better suited to a game like Destiny as starter gear, than it is to FFXIV imo

Considering the likelihood of these sets being added in the 5.x patch cycle, it probably won't look out of place in Garlemald (if we're going there). It's similar to those Tank/Healer/Caster design contests, with the first contest winner (Lost Allagan) being added as the Creation tomestone set.

To be quite fair, The Lost Allagan Stuff didn't fit in with literally any of the themes or environs of 4.0 in the slightest.

They pretend to get away with most things by slapping 'Allagan' on them, even though the aesthetics for that have been all over the place as well.

Can't wait for the Ranged set. Finally something I'd love to user that fits both BRD and MCH. Now to hope they don't botch it in-game like they often do with these designs.

I think the Ranged set suffers 2 problems:

1.) It's gonna look real similar to half the Sky Pirate equipment
2.) They specifically mentioned the Scarf/Cape on the male piece. (I agree, it looks nice.) And yet the female one only has a boring open back with no scarf or cape at all.

The ranged winning entry is great, but I just don't like the melee dps winning entry. There were better runners-up. Hopefully they improve on it in production.

Hmmmmm, tbh the Melee stuff looks not good Really bad choice ~ And i think it dont fit in this Game lol. The Range is okey. Others had better Ideas for Melee stuff.
