3-6 full seconds of a frozen screen during game play.

I have done almost everything under the sun to prevent a 3-6 second screen freezes that occurs during gameplay 5-8 mins apart regardless if its in a dungeon or walking on a road. My laptop runs 58-60 frames with the graphical settings it can handle comfortably at all times, up-to-date drivers, razer optimizer, high performance power setting, run as admin, high performance graphic card by default and i still have the same issue.

Do you notice any pattern to it? Does it only happen in certain zones? Or only when you are doing a certain action?

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

I have just re downloaded ffxiv after being away for a year and has been a new problem for me that i haven't encountered before

It likes to happen anywhere, i don't see much of a pattern except the timing is 7-10 ish mins or 15-20 mins in between screen freezing.

No graphical issues or bugs, but i have seen the offline symbol next to my name above my character for a micro second before it disappears.

This is a laptop, correct? My first thought is that something might be overheating. Do you have a way to monitor the temperature? Are any of the vents being blocked, even only partially?

Go to the power options on the laptop and make sure it's set to 'Prefer Maximum Performance'. Preferably, have it plugged in while playing.

I'd also suggest doing a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.
