Tbh this whole sentiment hurting is getting out of hand. Most of us ignore or make a joke to not let the tension build . This occurs even between people who are friends in real life , so either people need to get more life experience and soak in or just ignore feedback like that. What the feedback was in this thread was not even bad , heard/saw worse.
Also i don't know your definition of elitist, but that ain't it. For minor errors or not knowing the mechanics , you would have been dropped from the party with the first one if that was the case.
So in the end, report and move on or ignore, no point in starting a thread over it.


Been gaming for more 15 years, but lately people overreact to anything and that's why we have 0 to none conversation in the party chat or alliance chat, because there is always someone looking to be offended by any minor joke or troll.
Grow some skin if you want to survive in the real world.

Maybe it's because I come from playing CoD and LoL (though, I hardly talk down to people), but something as simple as "uninstall" or "go kill yourself" are more commonplace than something like "good morning". I'm not excusing what that person did as if it were the right thing to do, but your whining and complaining on a forum about this is no better. I mean yeah you're right, people aren't goign to be nice all the time and that's fine. Thats why we have things like the report button, but some people aren't used too it or somethings hit people in different ways. If it were me I'd reported them or told them I'mma sue them for means words like a lady suing air and laughed it off. But hey. Actually....

Sirensong first boss, Susano, Doma Castle second boss, Lakshmi and Shinryu normal (which is the final gate to opening up most 70 content) all have stack mechanics. You literally can't get to 70 without seeing stacks in all of these instances.

On one hand, we have someone losing their temper because of a silly mistake OP made and told them to "uninstall their game". Which isn't an insult, btw, just a rude comment.

On the other, we have OP who could've simply said something like "My bad, this phase still makes me a bit nervous and I lose my concentration there. I'll pay more attention next time. Sorry!, but instead decided to get so offended that they had to come on the official forums to complain and tell everyone about these "damn elitists" (who are actually not elitists, but simply people who get angry when other people fail simple mechanics such as "go to this point". It's not called elitism, just basic human emotions).

While the "offender" did something uncalled for, the "offended" could grow thicker skin and learn that saying sorry instead of going on a rant can solve a lot of things.
But of course, getting offended is easier than saying sorry or simply ignoring it these days.

Ive never told anyone to uninstall. But did chew out an RDM one time cause they were being ultra bad after we gave effort to explain everything and encourage questions.

Also, yeah, not to say its great to hear being told to uninstall the game, but if youve been grinding the content and wiping for hours on end, yeah, your patience begins to wear thin after a while. Especially if you need something for the content. It doesnt help that the Suzaku fight is kind of janky. Not sure if they fixed it, but there were some runs where enrage wouldnt proc, or the party would get blown off after the tank buster even if she was facing away, or the weird lag, or how in one instance the symbols didnt match the explosions.
