Why don't normal Trials drop anything?

I tend to do Extreme, so I personally don't care too much, but it seems weird that the Extreme trials have all of the gear now while there's pretty much no reason to run the Normal Mode.

Perhaps the Normal Trial could have accessories as incentive while Extreme has weapons? It just seems weird to make the Normal Trial a one and done deal, particularly for people who might happen to start that content late.

They do drop cards.... sometimes... tho rarely >< (Still need my Shinryu and Suzaku and Omega cards)

I wish they at least dropped some gil. To cover repair costs at least.

Well, the thing about that is Extreme is still worth your time over Normal because EX at least offers weapon drops, music rolls, crafting material, or at least totems on the off chance you don't get a card. Normal is just you get a card or you get nothing.

Honestly we have too many options for gear, its very bloaty. Tome gear should suffice enough until 24man raid.

If it's an issue with weapons, they can save up for the 360/70 tomestone weapon or they can do an extreme.

If they don't want to do either, then they won't be doing content that needs higher than 370 anyway.

I'd suggest they go back to POTD if this is the case.

i don't understand this response, my post said nothing about weapons.

Alphascape normal mode gives you i380 gear so that you have an easier time stepping into Savage without using the Marketboard and doing Suzaku EX. having Suzaku normal drop i380 rings with different sub-stats from the Bolt Ring is a good thing?
