Namazu Effigy Complaint

Greetings,

I never post on the forums but I cant stand this any longer... My neighbor has filled his entire yard up with these Namazu Effigy and the noise of 6-9 of these going at one time is starting to get very old.

I am at my house crafting at the summoning bell every day sometimes for hours. Im to the point where I dont even want to be at my house anymore because of the incredibly annoying sounds that these outdoor furnishings make.

To boot I'm a migraine sufferer.

This character is never on and i have been searching non stop to politely ask if they could not have so many up. They are clearly never around and do nothing with their house so its very very annoying that I have to hear this day in and day out. Its almost as if they've done this to purposely be annoying.

Is there any way to turn just this off but still enjoy the music within my housing zone? Ugh i cant stand this anymore.

You can try turning off sound effects but not the BGM in your sound settings.

Also, why not just put a summoning bell inside your house and craft there?

You can also play with the settings in terms of where you generate your ambient audio from(behind the camera being one option), then rotate and position your camera in such a way that the source of the sound is away from the microphone so to speak.

I do have one but I enjoy shirogane outside the most for its scenery, the view is the whole reason i bought the place.

I will try to mess around with sound settings more though I already had a little. It's just not fair a person can put so many of these up facing ALL directions so that unless i face towards his house I hear them. I also hear them from the front of my own yard LOL.

EDIT: I messed around with ambient sound and it got rid of it. Just sucks i have to lose all ambient sounds on the account of 1 person's housing items. I hope SE looks into this. Its a nuisance.

That does nothing for the sound unfortunately. Only turning off ambient sounds helps.

I have been lookin but finding another medium or large would be almost impossible on Leviathan lol. Hopefully SE just looks into this b/c its obsurd.

Have you tried to make a macro for turning on/off the ambient sound effects?
You would have to press it every time you craft there, but you wouldn't have to go into system settings anymore and change it manually.
The macro is just "/ambientsounds", which toggles it on and off when you press it.
It's better than nothing. ^^
