[QUOTE=syris748;4785441]Okay that's a bit a extreme? this wasn't intended to get this much attention, yeah i definitely am considering changing my name after this, at this point i really don't care anymore.I\\'d really like to see a member of the party post some logs of what actually went down. Based on the last time you posted something like this, you left a lot of details out in your OP.
A picture of his parse is on the Sh*tpostXIV subreddit you can review it there. My friends were with OP in the run. They have a copy of the logs I can see if I can't get it for you. WHM friend in that group told me she did more dps than him. So it was a combination of unwilling to listen to advice, foul play in trying to MT as OT, and low dps leading to kick.

Honestly, changing a name won't let you escape from this. You have such a unique... fingerprint... as a tank that even if you were to change your ingame name you'd still be easy to point at in a crowd.
You're going to need to take some time off and learn your class. Take up the offers others have made to teach you.
Also fire your free company. The fact that they let you get this far, this catastrophically bad, means they've failed you entirely.
And for the love of God learn to take advice when it's offered. Before doing anything else.

Its quite sad that THIS is your take away instead of the will to actually improve and better your reputation through bettering yourself.
I don't have to provide anything else other than i posted, i was kicked 1 Run of it 1 wipe, also wanna mention i was doing everything right, now that i think about it probably was a group of trolls, also i was upset because they sent that message as soon as they kicked me before i could say anything back, Another example of abuse of the kick system. also i don't need any teaching, I Have over 250 comms.
Uh...well... I was going to not add anything, but this tipped me over the edge. You are not an angel. I walk in to content and eat dirt, but I try to think about what I did wrong or I notice it in the fight and make a mental note for next time.
I was thinking you were talking about Savage when I was first going through this, but after double checking you were vote abandoning Normal v3. I came back after not playing for an entire tier and one-shot v3 on Monday evening. I'm not saying it's your fault, but I'm not saying it's not either. I've not seen you play so that's not my place, but there is always something to correct or improve upon. I have probably around 2,000 commendations by now and I still think I need to improve. So for you to turn down help like this is quite telling of your true character.
Should they have said that to you before kicking? No, probably not. Did they offer gameplay or mechanic advice before that? We don't know since you've only shown us your side of the story. Do I think it's probably partially your fault at the least? Yes. I've played super poorly before on a run where I'm just screwing up, but after the wipe I apologize and say that it was my bad. People are generally quite responsive to self-criticism, but very few do it. The people here should be spending less time and effort berating the people that said this to you like you are craving for them to do as you seek validation and spend more time genuinely helping YOU get to a position where this won't happen again. Maybe you should take /u/KaldeaSahaline's offer just for constructive criticism.
Wouldn't it be better to take this experience and learn from it? You've been offered help from others, myself included, there's no shame in accepting help to improve. I can say that if you continue with the mind set you currently have you'll probably be kicked from more parties.

Whew lad. This was a ride. An hilarious one that I'll fondly look back on when I wanna share why I quit this game.
I was the BLM in this group.
OP stole the boss from MT and proceeded to bounce the boss between NE and NW corners until finally settling on NE. OP positioned the boss sideways, so that the Larboard/Starboard Wave Cannon mechanic would hit 90% of the room (instead of 50-60%). Members of our group attempted to communicate with OP in party chat during the encounter, but the attempts were met with silence. OP did acknowledge a waymark that was thrown up at North, but still faced the boss sideways making positioning awkward and some mechanics more difficult to deal with. OP was in Shield Oath for the entire duration, and use the enmity combo over and over and over and over again. After the wipe, additional communication attempts were met with silence. I believe that is what prompted the vote kick and removal from party.
Mechanics can be learned. Play styles can be adjusted. Laughs and good times can be had. I'm pretty sure we'd have no issues with new players or others who run the content blind. But your rogue attitude throughout the entire encounter was counter-productive, disruptive, and justifiable grounds for the vote kick. You're even missing several useful abilities from your class' toolkit and cross-class skills (Royal Authority, Goring Blade, Holy Spirit, Rampart, Convalescence, etc.) as logs can prove.
Perhaps you can try being humble and receptive towards learning more about your class. There's always room for improvement, even though you clearly believe that you've reached the pinnacle of paladin tanking based on your responses in this thread. And while the insult was unnecessary, I believe the sentiment is valid. A good player in a MMO goes beyond doing well in their own job/class/profession/trade and makes the effort to communicate and work together with others as a team.

Elitists, huh? Alright, guess I can be a bit blunt here.
People are jumping on your case because you are actually defending bad play. Srsyly, the fact that you actually said the MT should've said something about you stealing aggro makes me think that this is not the first party since your last thread in which people have kicked you. The fact that you even said that shows that you have learned absolutely nothing since your last thread. No, we are not elitists because we are calling you out. But we all share common flippin courtesy, something that you are lacking right now. Any sympathy I might have had for you has been erased because, again, it seems you are learning absolutely nothing through this thread. You've been offered help, and instead of taking the help since it's extremely obvious that you need it at this point, you lash out.
THAT is not improvement. That is hubris. THAT right there is elitism, acting like you don't need help. Yes, I am saying it. You are being elitist. And a self-made victim. Learn your job, and learn some proper MMO courtesy.
