People are jumping on your case because you are actually defending bad play. Srsyly, the fact that you actually said the MT should've said something about you stealing aggro makes me think that this is not the first party since your last thread in which people have kicked you. The fact that you even said that shows that you have learned absolutely nothing since your last thread. No, we are not elitists because we are calling you out. But we all share common flippin courtesy, something that you are lacking right now. Any sympathy I might have had for you has been erased because, again, it seems you are learning absolutely nothing through this thread. You've been offered help, and instead of taking the help since it's extremely obvious that you need it at this point, you lash out.

THAT is not improvement. That is hubris. THAT right there is elitism, acting like you don't need help. Yes, I am saying it. You are being elitist. And a self-made victim. Learn your job, and learn some proper MMO courtesy.

Nor will I be the last. Especially if you keep pulling what you've been pulling. There is no excuse for reaching lvl 70 and not knowing what your aggro combo is, or not pairing Holy Spirit with Requiescat. Either way, I hope that at the very least, this has humbled you and taught you that you need help with your job - and I hope that you are taking those offers and are actually learning from them. Otherwise, you're definitely going to run into another situation like this, over and over again.

You may not be an elitist but I know a ton of players who are both vastly more skilled than you at this game and infinately more receptive to advice. Many have been called elitists on these forums many times before.

To be so confident in your own abilities with no room for correction or criticism definitely could be elitism, the only thing stopping you is that these traits show up alongside what I can only describe as a severe lack of skill or knowledge.

As people have said - learn about PLD. Read a guide, watch a video. There are a lot of perspectives out there and virtually all of them are more informed than yours at this point. Best to humble up, acknowledge your mistakes and stop repeating them.
