Bless you for your serviceGot wind of this thread from a friend of a friend of a friend... lmto omg
So let me get this straight. You said nothing about being new nor asked any questions, stole aggro from our main tank, did not hold the boss in one spot but rather moved him from one side to the other to the other to the other making us all rethink mechs on the fly which in turn was why we wiped because the aoes were just crazy, used requiescat but not holy spirit, didn't reply to any of our party chat texts asking what you were doing, annnnnnd we're the bad guys for vote dismissing you? Nah. I didn't expect my good friend to post the diddy in party chat, but there IS a check box to filter out profanities.
We thought you joined us via DF because you purposefully wanted to ruin someone's night by tanking like a vodka soaked bumble bee. Welcome to the purpose and implementation of vote dismissal.
Be humble. Sit down.

if the other tank was going to mt, You should of said something, You never said ONCE about having a issue with me stealing the boss, i would of went damage aot, but your clearly denying the fact, and i also didn't reply to any chats because it's kinda hard to type while doing a boss.

Its generally assumed whoever pulled is going to be the MT. Its rude to pull the boss off of them unless there's a tank swap, which don't happen in any normal raids at the moment. Its also disruptive because you taking aggro changes the way the boss is facing making it more difficult for melees. And also, generally PLDs don't main tank if there's another type of tank in the party.
No one should ever have to tell anyone that they have an issue with boss-stealing.if the other tank was going to mt, You should of said something, You never said ONCE about having a issue with me stealing the boss, i would of went damage aot, but your clearly denying the fact, and i also didn't reply to any chats because it's kinda hard to type while doing a boss.
The tank who pulls is the MT, the other expected to go into off-tank-stance and focus on dealing damage instead of even touching their aggro-rotation. Stealing a boss is very, very, very bad taste and you not realising that shows only that you might have improved from only using shield lobe to hold aggro but still dont understand how this game or team-play works.
I'm sorry, this is probably making me angrier than it should, but... what the hell? "Please dont rip aggro off the maintank" isnt something you need to be told in current endgame content, common sense should be able to tell you that! (And as paladin you should actually prefer to OT, since it benefits a lot of your skills)
You are not supposed to fight over aggro with your Co-Tank - you are both fighting that boss together. You're fighting that boss with your party. You are supposed to work with your party - not against them.
Getting close to grab aggro? Use Shirk on your MT, to help them keep aggro and ensure a smooth run.
You called this "witchhunt" sad... I call it sad that you havent really learned from last time, because you made two crucial-mistakes back then: The first one was not understanding how tanking works, which is forgiveable in general, a bit less forgiveable in content past level 30. But the second mistake was not owning up to that mistake and to play the victim-card instead.
And you're repeating that second mistake right here. Insults might be uncalled for, but you lying about "no one (especially not you) playing badly" and you not making any mistakes, only for it later to be revealed that you still havent grasps how tanking, and specially working together with your party works, is pretty damn sad.
I honestly feel more sorry for the 7 people who must have believed that they were being trolled than for someone whos playing the "victim" and "I'm new!"-card but unable to perform very basic stuff like teamwork, Shirk, non-aggro-combos and not stealing aggro...
Let me tell you that you might have imrpoved from only using Shield Lobe, but that you still have a long way to go - personally I would advice you to look at your skills and hotbars first and arrange them in a way thats beneficial. I see Royal Blade lurking around in a corner, while Rage of Halone gets two prime-spots on your first hotbar, which indicates you're using Halone a lot more than Royal Blade - you shouldnt, specially not as OT. Clean up those hotbars and think of a way that allows you to access the skills you should be using most (Royal Blade, the DoT, Holy Spirit) in easy to reach spots, with less used ones (Rage of Halone-Combo) a bit further off.
I'm most willing to give you more advice on paladin - because even though you might have improved, the "report" we got about your performance indicates that you have a bit more improving to do if you really want to succed in endgame-group-content.

nobody was playing the victim card or lying, if anyone it was my fault and i own up to it, but i'd gladly ask everyone to stop lecturing me over my mistakes, just because a couple bad experiences isn't going to stop me from tanking. i think your bit over exaggerating. No one should ever have to tell anyone that they have an issue with boss-stealing.

You just said that you need to be told not to rip aggro of MTs - and obvious mistake that you dont even seem to be aware off making. How are you supposed to improve upon those things if people dont tell you?
You also claimed that:
Which, as sorry I am to say that, you clearly were, if that report of the run is to be believed (and why shouldnt we believe it? You even confirmed yourself that you ripped aggro of the MT which isnt only bad play but also bad etiquette.)
So if you werent lying at that point, you were unaware of you making pretty obvious mistakes that you shouldnt make anymore in level 70, wether that content is a week or a year old.
I'm not trying to justify the insult you recived, I still think they should have handled the issue with just removing you silently. And while I'm not saying you deserved that insult, I hope you do realise that your poor and bad play got you into a situation yet again in which a party felt the need to remove you from a duty to clear it in an enjoyable way, because you're not able to do, because you dont communicate with your party and lack basic understanding of common "strageties (like: dont steal aggro) and how to play your class.all i have to say is some of these responses is just laughable, telling me i wasn't playing my class right or i'm the one trolling, the whole point of this thread was the insult because its against tos and why wouldn't i?, i don't know why some of you are blind to this fact, it's not about knowing mechanics or not knowing how play my class, it's about the fact that i wanted to share my experience with this.
Sorry, if this thread didnt went the way you wanted to - with everyone telling you how terrible you were treated (and the treatment was infact not very nice).
But let me tell you that I'm asking the thread-question "What is it with people?" way, way more often about players who need to improve on very basic concepts in endgame content - "What is it with people that they've reached level 70 and still dont understand how a tank-swap works?" - "What is it with people who reached level 70 and still dont know to drop tank-stance when offtanking?" - "What is it with people not knowing how Shirk works and how to use it?" (...granted, that one is naive and wishful thinking).
