I actually do have all dps mage jobs at 70, I just don’t prefer them. Once you understand how a boss works you can plop down and do your rotation. What it really boils down to is knowing your job and utilize it to your advantage.This comment suggests you never played a black mage as face rolling usually ends with no enochian and a dead rotation. Melee, especially samurai are much more face rolling classes as positionals are very easy to land and you aren't burdened by movement.
As for the thread, no. Simply no. As a mage i guess I should demand boss fights stop requiring me to move cause its unfair for my dps to suffer while melee players dps on the move just fine. Work around it instead of asking for nerfs. I'm stilll working on my clear but I have had no issue running my rotation during intense parts.
