So I barely progressed, (like EL of 7 with 45? crystals) and if I want to catch up with the gear level, how much time might I need to spend?

The current gear level? The armor will let you do most content but certainly nothing endgame.

If you mean how much time you'll have to spend in general for the set, it's basically a long time. It's dependent on how much you're willing to spend, but Anemos in general is a lot easier, esp once you get into train groups and get a good instance. You need A LOT of crystals and your best bet is to just run the train and at the end of your session talk to Gerolt to convert them to the smaller ones til you need the big ones. Getting to Anemos cap isn't too bad. Maybe a couple weeks depending how hardcore you grind.

The armor does not further upgrade into Pagos, only the weapon, and THAT takes a fucking long ass time. See any thread about Pagos to get an idea about how bad it is. Supposed in Pyros the armor will be up-gradable, but god knows what that'll entail.
