    Fix Squadron Dungeons!!!

    As a caster I cannot do Brayfox HM, or The Wanderers Palace HM.

    It is extremely hard, and nearly impossible. I have spent two, and a half hours trying to earn the emotes, but nope. I died 30+ times.

    Fix command missions for squadrons. Either make the A.I. Intelligent enough to destroy bombs, and spears, or nerf the content. It is not designed for single player.

    I ran these two today and had a few issues but it was not impossible to do, if anything it should be easier as DPS. The content is exactly the same as the instances you get through Duty Finder (except the party members are your squadron) so I highly doubt they would nerf the content.

    Brayflox went WHM and yes the bombs were awkward, but managed to Holy most of them out of the way. There was the odd occasion where I knew I couldn't move enough in time, so had no choice but to heal though the damage of a couple of them and eventually it worked. Casters should have more aoe and insta-cast type spells available though so can't see it being a problem for them.

    Wanderers Palace did as SMN, and honestly the only issue I found with this was that it took a long time to defeat the last boss because the squad preferred to tank it on top of the Idol standards. The first boss was easy enough though, just be sure to Re-engage your squad to attack the spears as soon as they appear.

    Just in case you don't know the emotes don't require 10 unique Command Missions. In fact there weren't even 10 different squad dungeons available when they were released.
    If you really can't beat these two dungeons you can just repeat an easier one instead.

    I did these two on SCH.
    For Brayflox HM I used Miasma 2 to clear the bombs. It did take a couple of attempts.
    For Wanderer's HM like Kurando said I Engaged the spears as they spawned. For the last boss I eventually just had the squad burn the boss through the Standard buff because I got tired of trying to re-position them.

    I actually had trouble with the Wanderer's Palace Normal Mode where the tank would try to attack the adds on the final boss... I had to exit the dungeon and re que as a tank to complete it.

    Brayflox Hard Mode is much easier if you play Warrior or Dark Knight. Their enmity grabbing skills knock away the bombs in a pretty large radius. Paladin has a spinning attack that probably works well, too.

    I've cleared every mission except for the most recent ones with the last patch on a NAKED monk.

    The best advice I can give you, is change your out-look. Don't get mad when the AI is being stupid as balls. Learn to accept what they can and cannot do, and then try to master that broken system. It's amazing what you can accomplish simply by disengaging/engaging them, and forcing them to move and such.

    But I can promise you, there's not a single mechanic that's unavoidable that'll one shot you, lol. Playing with gear would certainly be a lot easier. But if you're good at micro-managing them and avoiding absolutely all of the avoidable damage--you'll be good. But if you want an easy time. Just deck your guy out and sit in all the AoE. The healer won't carry you, but they'll get to your wounds -eventually- just be frugal at taking damage. And almost never LB unless you absolutely for sure know you won't die during it.

    Disengage and re-engage are your friends here. Use them wisely. I lost on every boss on Wanderer's Palace HM, the 1st and last one solved by disengaging and re-engaging. The middle boss, because I didn't remember the strategy on that one. Once I figured it out, it was easy. I will say that WP HM is probably the hardest dungeon to date for Squads, with Braflox HM 2nd only for last boss.

    Like others have posted, you can tell your squadron what you want them to attack. If you start falling behind in DPS (soft enrages) use Ungermax to catch back up.

    Why do Squadrons not just copy FF12s Gambit System again?

    Also, AI aside, does the rewards need adjusting? Newer dungeons at least net you a positive in GC Seals, but the Chemistry bonuses seem to do nothing... I spec'd mine out to farm Red Scrips for me, and I've only ever gotten 1 Red Scrip per dungeon run, if that... Meanwhile I can run a dungeon solo unsync'd much faster and for more GC Seals overall... The content seems fairly pointless overall... They couldn't even be asked to put in a special Flagged mission where we lead them in battle to rank up, instead it was another Retainer Venture Flagged mission to rank up... Guess it's for the best when the AI is so utterly pants, but man... Squadrons are just bitterly disappointing... I really don't even see why they added this as it currently stands... It's broken on just about every level...

    Ast doesn’t have an aoe to use at level 50.
