Sorry wrong.
Your eyes don't see in FPS 1st of all.
secondly get a 144 hz display and force refresh at 24 29.97 60 120 144. I will admit the difference between 60 and 120 is less then 29.97 to 60 and 120 to 144 is almost not noticable.
But you can really see a difference in 30 to 60.
@ DuskTS if you play on PC hit the magic 60 FPS ie lower res or graphic settings
Then limit FPS in graphic setting to 30 fps and if you don't see a difference in smoothness you should maybe see a doctor.
The 24 and 29.97 where flim standards where it was the minium to see smooth movement to cut cost on productions. Think 1960 where TV was new and everything cost a lot more then it does now to just flim something on film!
I can't remember the numbers but lets say to film a 1 hour move you need $240 of film @ 24 FPS vs $600 @ 60 FPS What would you do?
EDIT: Post the specs of your computer if it's not a laptop maybe the community could recommend a upgrade vs replacing the whole computer and give you better game play.
