The new Open All Inventory setting

I was pretty excited about this but I can't use it. It scales the window size down by maybe half making all inventory items very small. They are just to small to see with my aging eyes even with my glasses on.

Maybe allow us to scale the size of the inventory window like we can with UI elements?

You can resize them. On controller it's R3 while focus is on the window. PC must have some equivalent. It works with lots of windows: inventory, character, crafting, etc. Press it repeatedly and it cycles through several possible sizes.

Yeah that's when you're in the HUD layout. The inventory window doesn't have a HUD element to resize.

At least the controller R3 also works outside of HUD layout, and works on the inventory window specifically. (I tried checking out the new Open All Inventory setting at various sizes, since I too found it odd that it started at its smallest size.) It just needs to be when the window has focus.

I just wish they would give us the option to go with a horizontal setup instead of the vertical one. Makes more sense given we're all stuck with widescreens these days.

It's a step in the right direction, I just wish this could be extended to retainers as well. We had full extended inventories before SB and now over a year in to the expac, we still have only part of retainer's bag showing. I would prefer that over personal inventory, but fingers crossed we'll get further improvements to the system come future expacs.

You can use R3 outside of the HUD Layout. If you don't play with controller, you can use your mouse to right-click on the header part of the window you want to resize and press scale window.

As Rongway posted above, I scaled mine to 100% and it stayed that way permanently. So glad I can see all my stuff at once time again!

Thank you! At first when I changed to the Open All setting I was like "OH NO! The icons are smaller!" and then I saw this thread and your post and all was better. So glad to have this option of not having to switch tabs when looking at my inventory anymore!
