    For some reason it feels like the genesis gear is more of a sam buff than the actual sam buff.

    I'm not sure about that... So much skill speed on Genesis. I did some math... With base SKS and all Genesis gear (minus one ring) you'll end up with 1822 SKS without even needing materia. I'd prefer a lot more DH.
