How's the Sam buff?

I was just curious how the Sam buff is working out. Is it noticeable in overall dps? Did the little potency increases actually help out?

Pretty much. Though I do find myself having to use Diversion/Merciful Eyes more. In Suzaku Ex, if I don't, I have a bad habit of overtaking the OT.

Last night I was doing Alphascape normals, 3.0 specifically. I was having to purposefully stand in aoe’s occasionally to hit merciful eyes, having to play third tank every now and then. It doesn’t feel like a huge increase, but I feel like it’s a step in the right way. I doubt the jokes will end but it does feel like to hit 45k in a single hit

sam feels on par with blm now, even with the blm buff

some flights might be more preferably to either.., but unless your into wiorld fastest speedkills, sam can replace any meele imo.., and now probably even on world fastest, some flights might be more sam than drg friendly.. (and sam should now easily be ablle replace mch (2nd rangesd) or mnk slots)

I did have a tank in an expert roulette comment on how I "hit like a truck". I told him I'm a Samurai. Hitting like a truck is all I have. Lol.

I'm relatively new to the raiding scene, but I too, have noticed that I need to use Merciful Eyes more to keep my enmity from overtaking some tanks.

As an aside, I feel trains would hit harder than trucks.

For some reason it feels like the genesis gear is more of a sam buff than the actual sam buff.
