IIRC last ilvl tier, DH for war specifically was about on par with SS for increasing damage (after you can 5 hit anyway). So it was SS 5hit>Crit>Det>SS=DH=Ten. It seems not much has changed this go around, but glad the balance discord seems to be on board with my gut.
Crit will only be better as it scales better the more you have. It was the best. Now its even better.
Det is linear scaling. We have more of it so Id wager the gap between crit>Det is slightly wider with det linear and crit curving up.
DH is also linear, but we have the same % gains as previous tier because we always have baseline and materia slots are unchanged for how much we could equip.
Ten is just det -1. Exact same type of damage scaling. Just less.
SS is pretty lame. Its pretty trash at low levels, but does exponentially gain. There might be some consideration this late in a cycle to at least test out a maxed out SS build, but the way IR works, its pretty unlikely to work well.
So for me the only question was: Would DH (same % gain as last tier) and SS (with exponential gains and high ilvl now) have a prayer at catching up to the falling off benefits of more and more det as it is just a linear scaling stat the % damage gains from more det will not be the same as the % gains at lower ilvls of det. (the real damage gains are the same point for point, but the % of your total damage will fall off a bit.)
Seems discord finds that det did not hit a tipping point with SS or DH so that clears up 1 of my two stat questions this tier. The other being, have we finally got enough stats for SS to hit it's stride in exponential returns to drop that GCD. But that is more likely for Pld/Drk. IR just puts so much POW into a crit build I find it highly unlikely SS could ever touch war again. Only way that happens is getting a 6th FC in at this point. But man that would be next level haha.

Edit:
Did some math. Were still about 1k SS short of doing a 6hit FC :'( Need around 4k +- latency soo....RIP SS dream.
