Thread: Another reason SE should reconsider tank accessories

Just a minor complaint, but I can't be the only one to notice this issue.

Come in to new patch with previous BiS crafted accessories, suddenly its a struggle to join PFs due to the default recommended item levels.

I think some people select the option not really considering that a lot tanks are still wearing 350 crafted and thus have a lower average item level. Of course I could've just bought the mendacity, or use pages if I had any left to bump it up temporarily.. Bleh. Took 5 i380 pieces just to get to 371... That would put other jobs close to 380!

I was able to work it out so didn't prevent me from running any content, just created some, rather unnecessary, hoops to jump through.

The positive thing is that accessories appear to be more balanced in the new patch, and that is certainly appreciated! It's a step in the right direction and need to give credit where it's due. Please try keep these kind of situations in mind as we move towards future patches/expansions.

Edit: Wait, no that doesn't help. Hah.

On the one hand, tank accessories are a very large pain point for the role, but on the other hand you have to realize that SE can't change the fact that party finder is scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of finding groups, and is probably a greater trial than EX primals or savage.
